Refund Policy

Tournaments cancelled prior to 14 days before start of tournament equal a 100% refund of tournament fee. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event before equal 50% refund of tournament fee. Cancellations made 7 days prior to event equal 0% of tournament fee refunded.

Waiver

The Southwest Martial Arts Open urges all participants to obtain a physical exam from a physician before participating in the tournament or any physical activity. The undersigned acknowledges that recreational and sports activities and tournaments involve inherent risks of personal injury. It is agreed that participation in this tournament is at the participant’s sole risk. The Southwest Martial Arts Open is not liable for any claims, demands, injuries or damages whatsoever to the participant(s) or participant’s property arising out of the participant’s participation in this tournament. On behalf of the participant(s), the undersigned releases and discharges The Southwest Martial Arts Open, Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center, its owners, judges and volunteers, board members, directors from any and all such claims, demands, injuries, death or damages. The Southwest Martial Arts Open reserves the right to deny this application for any reason. Unruly or disruptive participant(s) and spectator(s) may be asked to leave. If participant(s) or spectator(s)is asked to leave for any reason paid fees will not be refunded.
